Nolvadex.

Nolvadex (tamoxifen) is a prescription anti-cancer medicine that blocks the activity of estrogen in the breast stopping the growth of breast tumors. Taking Nolvadex regularly you may get a few mild side effects, such as constipation, thinning of hair, hot flashes, dizziness, excessive tiredness, increased tumor pain, headache, nausea, stomach cramps, weight loss, and depression. The mild side effect mentioned are not likely to get more serious and actually tend to disappear on their own. However, there are also more serious side effects that you will need to report to your health care provider right away. The following ones are supposed to be reported to make sure they do not affect the success of your treatment or your wellbeing: restlessness, vision problems, loss of appetite, rash, jaundice, fever, unusual bruising or bleeding, muscle weakness, and blisters. To make sure your treatment is efficient and safe your doctor will need to know if you have high triglycerides, a history of stroke or blood clot, a history of cataract, or liver disease. Your dose may be higher or lower depending on those and some other factors that your health care provider will need to take into consideration.
